B Corp Certification is not just a badge of sustainability. It’s a holistic assessment that helps businesses understand and improve their impact on people, communities, and the planet, from the treatment of workers across the supply chain, to life cycle analysis and initiatives implemented to reduce waste and emissions. The required change in legal status also ensures companies are now accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders.

Once you’re certified you have 3 years to improve your impact and increase your score. We’ll help you to ensure that you’re staying on top of things that should be done on an annual basis, such as preparing an impact report, calculating your carbon footprint, tracking your KPIs. We’ll also identify opportunities that you inevitably didn’t get to during your last certification. We want to help you become a better B Corp so you continue your impact for good.

Non-Exec Director: Sustainable Business Advisory Role

Overview:

Acting as your critical friend to objectively assess your business but without the formalities of being a named Director, I look to provide a creative contribution to you by providing independent oversight and constructive challenge.

I will help create an inherent robustness in your business by acting as an independent sounding board for ideas and in reviewing progress towards business goals.

We have a range of payment and budgetary plans to support small business owners who shoulder the weight of important decisions on their own.

Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts is an award granted to individuals that the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) judges to have made outstanding achievements to social progress and development.

Surrey Chambers of Commerce is the county’s largest independent not-for-profit business support and networking organisation. Invited onto the council to help in their ambition to support independent business owners. I’m currently working on the Chambers Start-up Academy and helping new business owners build sustainability into their companies from the outset.
