Good friend Nick Hollis is quite possibly the happiest man on earth. An international mountaineer who's seen our impact on the natural world first-hand. He's set a world record attempt to promote environmental responsibility and raise funds for the conservation of our planet's most precious resource: its rainforests. To complete the 721 Challenge Nick will climb the Seven Summits, ski the North and South Poles and row the Atlantic Ocean in world record speed. He has already climbed the highest mountain on every continent, completing the 7 Summits, now he has just two more challenges to go in his race against climate change.

I believe that for-profit businesses can help solve social and environmental challenges by aligning profits to purpose. I’ve built monthly donations into my P&L, like you would any other business cost and formally commit to donating 20% of profits to charitable causes every year. World Land Trust

World Land Trust (WLT) is an international conservation charity that protects the world's most biologically significant and threatened habitats.

Working through a network of partner organisations around the world, WLT funds the creation of reserves and provides permanent protection for habitats and wildlife. Partnerships are developed with established and highly respected local organisations who engage support and commitment among the local community. Their patron Sir David Attenborough says "The money that is given to the World Land Trust, in my estimation, has more effect on the wild world than almost anything I can think of."

Oakleaf Mental Health Charity

I’ve witnessed first-hand the impact that burnout can have on people’s mental health & wellbeing and worked closely with Oakleaf during the pandemic to support our teams use skills that helped them manage their mental health. Oakleaf aims to transform the lives and futures of adults managing their mental ill-health and help them secure the skills, confidence and training needed to return to the workplace. This pathway is delivered via three main focuses: Work-Related Training, Wellbeing Activities, and Counselling Services.

Chris and Zoe Lomas are 2 modern-day Saints who uprooted everything, leaving behind a successful business and a flourishing career in the UK to help transform the lives of children in two of the worst affected countries in the world. Their commitment is unwavering, Chris and Zoe's new home in Moldova borders with Ukraine, and they've been on hand to help refugees fleeing their homes, their act of kindness is nothing short of remarkable. Having become good friends with Chris whilst working in business together, I was inspired by his desire to provide Moldovan children with a right to life, a right to laugh and a right to play and it is our responsibility to allow them to do that without fear or prejudice.
